We are excited to announce the launch of ReclaimRoxbury.org !
After a year of community meetings in 2016 we learned that one thing Roxbury residents really needed was an easy-to-use, informative website with information on development in Roxbury.
We are honored to provide this resource. On the website you will see:
- an up-to-date “Community Calendar” of upcoming events in Roxbury
- an interactive map of developments in Roxbury with the project status and description as well as a list of all developments in the community
- a “Resource Library” with a list of important terms and definitions like “Affordable Housing”, books to read, important community reports, relevant city agency websites, and Reclaim Roxbury in the news
- a blog to keep folks updated
- a place to sign up for emails from Reclaim Roxbury to stay updated and get involved.
Please email us at ReclaimRoxbury@gmail.com if you would like to have a community event added to the calendar. All events must be free and open to the public to make it on the calendar. If your event doesn’t fall into that category and you think it should be on the calendar, please let us know. If there are any errors you see, please email us and let us know.
Be on the look out for the next Reclaim Roxbury’s community meeting happening very soon! We are excited to share more updates there and invite you and your family, friends and neighbors to participate. Gentrification and displacement are happening and we must resist and Reclaim Roxbury.
